The IER-M7 features 4 balanced armature drivers house internally in a magnesium alloy bracket to suppress unwanted resonances. The result is a clean, fast and accurate sound well suited for stage monitoring. The M7 is a slightly darker sounding earphone, ensuring a lack of sibilance even at higher volumes, while vocals are always clear in the mix. If you desire more high frequency detail, particularly for string instruments and cymbals, we recommend looking at the IER-M9, which adds an extra high frequency driver.
