Frequently Asked Questions: Does Sonos Ace require the Sonos app to set up and use? No. Sonos Ace uses Bluetooth to pair with devices. Select features must be enabled with the Sonos app on a device with internet connection.
Will the Sonos app work with Sonos Ace when I'm not connected to my home WiFi network? Yes. Even when your mobile device is not connected to WiFi, you can use the Sonos app to register Sonos Ace and control select features.
Does Sonos Ace require WiFi? No. Sonos Ace uses Bluetooth to pair with and connect to devices.
Can I use an aux cable with Sonos Ace? Yes. Connect to your preferred analog sources using the included USB-C to 3.5 mm cable. The included USB-C to USB-C cable can also be used for a wired digital audio connection.
