At the heart of the IE 200 is Sennheiser’s 7mm extra-wide-band TrueResponse Transducer, which it shares with the renowned IE 300, IE 600, and IE 900. The similarities don’t end there, but the focus this time was pure listening pleasure for anyone. The sound is pure, with practically zero harmonic distortion. The acoustics are superbly tuned for diffuse-field equalization without peaks and troughs. You feel the emotion of powerful, accurate bass, while enjoying exceptional resolution and treble extension. The listener can even adjust the amount of low end by choosing one of two ear tip positions.
