Fostex

The Fostex Company was founded in July 1973 by Foster Electric Co.,Ltd. (founded 1949), one of the world's largest developers of OEM speaker and transducer products.

Fostex was established to brand high quality speaker components from Foster and sell them direct to consumers and dealers in the Japanese marketplace.

Today Fostex employs the company's expertise in driver design and manufacturing to deliver their own line of super-premium headphones. Fostex innovations, such as their RP series planar magnetic drivers, and the 'Biodyna' bio-cellulose drivers, are today famous in the head-fi community for their unique technical performance.
